I have only a few words to describe Civ 4 and it’s expansions…
Epic, engaging, timeless…
This game has consumed many many hours of my life and I can honestly say they were not wasted. I am a student of economics and have (lol’d) a number of times in my classes because of my dealings in Civ 4. Whenever I learned about a new economic concept, like the 4 traps developing countries get stuck in, I would refer back to situations in Civ 4 where I encountered them…truly one of my nerdiest experiences. If you like LONG in-depth gaming experiences which require layers upon layers of strategy, get this game. Else, get a faster paced RTS.
